you mentioned you started off in the VFX industry in london....might i ask how did you get into the industry in the start...what was the thing that ultimately caught employer's eyes about you ? I'm in a similar situation where i want to get in to the games and movie VFX scene in London but i've been applying back and forth for almost 2 years now with no luck so far....

hi, i am kind of wondering if it's possible to use 2018 ver of Maya for this lesson. I mean does this lesson teach some tools that are only available in Maya 2020 and not in 2018?

As a long time blender artist a lack of experience in maya or max has been an issue many times in my career. I've actually been looking to resolve it recently, so the timing on this is perfect.

Highly curious. I know a lot of 3D artist use Maya, Zbrush, blender. But in regards to rendering and painting i.e. texturing, what are you thoughts of Substance vs. Quixel. The new Quixel Mixer 2020 update brought the ability to paint with models now for rendering textures being created. Also, what are your thoughts on Marmosets Toolbag vs. Blenders Eevee.

I'm curious about getting into 3D modeling myself, and I have already played around with blender a bit, and Quixel. Zbrush's price tag is a killer for me at the moment sadly.
