I think these Q&A videos of yours have been ridiculously good.

This is the only watch channel that feels like a chat between friends rather than a sales pitch or EXTREME YOUTUBE content.

This is a business channel in disguise of a watch enthusiast channel. Great stuff.

Two things: 1) Great video! 2) To whomever asked about "global tastes in watches, " excellent question!

to the "Rolex isn't worth it" remarks, I actually found my appreciation for mechanical watches by coming across another YT channel called Wristwatch Revival. He completely disassembles, repairs if needed, then reassembles them on camera. He goes into pretty decent detail as to what makes a movement more durable, and maybe more expensive. He's done this with a few Rolex now, and something as kitschy as a Mickey Mouse kid's watch. I'd recommend it for anyone who's fascinated with mechanical workings.
Again, thank you for such a no-nonsense approach to this hobby. It really does take a lot of the "star struck" wonder out of it and maybe much of the emotional component that, at least for me, will lead to a "smarter" approach to collecting. Of course, there will be those "must haves, " but having a solid base to work from is much more reassuring.

I would love to see a business/marketing focused channel from you.
Your insights on branding, the consumer market, and thought processes behind how corporations deliver value are all astounding. They’re a huge reason why I love your channel.

Thanks for what you do!

The way you blend honesty with experience, deep technical and business knowledge and plain common sense makes this channel a delight. It's like getting advice from an old, wise friend. Really
appreciated...

I’d wager YT analytics show that more viewers watch your videos start-to-finish than 90% of all creators out there. Really great content, my man!

Listening to your videos is like hearing my own thoughts that I've gathered on watch collecting for over 15 years, but in another voice. It's weird how good it feels to hear that someone who is super analytical has come to the same conclusions on watch topics and brands. 10/10 sir keep up the good work filtering through the hype and delivering high quality content.

As always, balanced and valuable takes. I wish you had more insight on watches between to $400 and $600, as I can't find content as good as yours for that range.

Another great work, Mike! As for hobbies, I get what you mean. Coming from Brazil and living in Sweden, I've noticed how hobbies are seen differently - with Swedish companies asking you to add your hobbies in your motivation letters (they believe we all have to actually have a life outside work).

And I love it. Hobbies are our safe space that manages to massage our brains after long, stressful days. So watching this 35 min long video on watches is more therapeutic than having a late afternoon nap, haha.

Your Q&A videos (well, your videos in general) have become the perfect driving companion. I find that they help me to crystallise and clarify my thoughts about my watch collecting philosophy, and your voice is both soothing and confident so I find it relaxing!

Totally agreed on the Panomaticlunar. It’s a watch that can stand on its own. Urban Gentry did a really good review on it and I’ve pretty much decided it will be my next purchase to mark my daughter’s birth. Cheers and thanks for the stellar content that you make!
