Today I'm flipping a target TV stand and taking it from trashed to trendy.

This Target Wyndham TV stand was in pretty rough shape. It had dings and chunks missing, the paint was chipping, and the red color hadn't aged well.

Furniture Flipping to the RESCUE! In this video I show you how to take an outdated and broken piece of furniture and how to repair, paint, and redecorate it to look modern, chic, and trendy.

Ican’t believe that is the same cabinet! Beautiful! The grey on top really was the icing on the cake

Theoretically, if the same beveling pattern wraps the front and both sides, you can take an impression of the good corner with play doh or a proper molding clay, fill it carefully with Bondo, then let dry. Then turn out the replacement corner, cut away the area of the broken corner you need to replace, then glue down the hardened Bondo corner. It is probably fiddly to get right even with proper materials and might require further filling and sanding but this technique works pretty well to capture complex shapes and details, and for matching missing sections of decorative trim and the like.

Love your video! Great job! Could you please explain how did you fix the doors? I have the same one and it drives me nuts every time I see it because the door are not align. Thank you!!

Hi! I’m new to your channel. I enjoy furniture makeovers myself but am always learning from channels like yours! Beautiful work on the pieces I’ve seen so far! 👏👏👏

I didn’t have much faith in that piece but you did a great job. Love the wash over with gray and the handles. Looks awesome.

Bella Renovare has a video where she makes a mould of an undamaged, detailed area with hot glue and puts the bondo or whatever in the mould and glues it over the damaged area...Pretty Distressed also has a similar one. Looked to me like a good alternative to trying to reshape the filler by sanding. Keep up the good work!!

When I have gnarly corners like this one I wrap sandpaper around an expired gift card or credit card and sand the bondo. I usually end-up with crisp lines and less swearing. Any time I have to cover a bold color I start with gray or white as a base coat, saving my custom-mixed colors. I also try to provide a small container of the custom mix for client touch-ups, or in this situation for you to do it for your Mom. This idea is helpful if glass is scratched or if you want to provide concealed storage. Spray the damaged or inside of the glass with mirror coating, then spray it with a vinegar/water mixture. Blot the mixture from the surface. Once thoroughly dry coat with black spray paint. It creates the appearance of an aged mirror. I have also omitted the black paint due to poor planning, the results were equally good. (I created a bathroom backsplash in an older rental property with this technique. Saved time and money.)

Particle Board is the worst!!! But it came out nice. Tips : 1. when mixing paint always goes lighter as it dries much darker. 2 I use 2 part molding compound and am able to create parts and pieces really well you can even make a mold from the other corner and get it exact! 3. Keep Smiling Keep Learning 😊

Before your Quick Wood hardens, take a knife blade and score where the ridges are, molding with your fingers. I then have to go in with the crease of a folded sand paper to shape and smooth them. They are for sure a pain.

Hello! I have a really dumb question! How did you get the rubber things back in to support the glass? I found a used windham so your tutorial was really helpful but I'm stuck at this last part.

Perfectly imperfect 😄 Best kind of perfect.

Yes less hardener. A pea sized amount would’ve worked for the amount of bondo you had there! Keep it up Clara!
