I've been using CloudBerry for several years. I've used it with local storage, Amazon and Backblaze. The only issue I've ever had was when I screwed something up and had plans running under two users. One of them didn't have the upload cap set and would saturate the network and make my internet connection unusable. The support was pretty good in helping to sort that out.

This is a great video Tom. Very helpful. I've been moving from Windows to Ubuntu and one of the problems I'm having is image backups. Acronis works great on Windows image backups but not consistently on Ubuntu. So, this looks like a great replacement that I can use on Windows or Linux. I love the idea of keeping my backups under my control and/or located at the remote location I choose (rather than Amazon or Google or CloudsRUs) and bare metal restores are very important to me. So, I will be looking at this. Thanks again!

I do like cloudberry - was using it all the way back in 2011 - come on a lot since then with so many storage options it is a great solution.

Yet another stellar video, Thank you Tom! I have been wanting to virtualize my current Win10Pro desktop on my XenServer so I can move over to Linux full time on my desktop (already have on one laptop). I've actually though about simply building a new system and keeping my current one as-is while I migrate away but it's only a few years old and still in great shape (plus, I'd rather spend the $ on more server hardware lol). So, the timing of this video is perfect. My only reservation is dropping $120 and finding out something isn't cooperating properly with the new VM, and then requiring an additional purchase for the Linux version since I won't be using Windows daily anymore. Sounds like a perfect solution, I just need to properly weigh out the pricing. Thanks again for another great video!

I have been using Ahsay for backup last 10 years for all of our clients. It has been Flawless never had an issue restoring. We have it back up to Azure Blob LRS for $0.02 per gigabyte. Let me know if you ever want to do a demo with them I can definitely help you out if you have any questions.

I know this is old but is it recommended to create an ISO for the BMR for every client or can you use one ISO to BMR multiple clients? Granted in this scenario it's back to the same hardware.

Great video Tom! Maybe you can answer this because Cloudberry support doesn’t seem to understand what I’m asking. If I have a SFTP server that I want to use as my destination, does that count against the storage limit? If the server is on the LAN, does that count against the storage limit?

I've been reading the Cloudberry site and it appears they have Storage Limits (Data volume you can manage with CloudBerry Backup). Of which the Pro desktop version has a 5TB limit. I have 10TB of data I'd like backed up so their stated limits are concerning. Have you tried larger sets of backups using Cloudberry?
