Mr. G, please also add graphs on how TV/CableTV did per user over the same time.

Another proof of the need to be present in mobile in order to reach your customers, specially in a B2C environment.
One interesting point will be to see what drive the significant increases in certain years (i.e., 2020, 2012) perhaps environmental changes (i.e., pandemic), New products (i.e, new Iphone) or services

Prof G the notion that we spend too much time on our phone is misguided. It's like someone from the '50s saying we spend way too much time in front of those stupid computer boxes when paper and pencil work just fine.

Gen Zers are often criticized for being on their phone too much but since they were born, the tech has been around so now it is an integral way they communicate, interact with the world, do banking, Netflix, in other words everything they do. The phone has become an extension of themselves.

It's not about how much time you spend on your phone, it's about what you DO on your phone. 90% of my time on my phone is productive.

If you are an entrepreneur you better be spending hours a day curating information, creating value for your tribe, and DMing potential clients, responding bon social, etc. All of those things are revenue generating activities.

I think what you do on your phone is more important than how much time you spend on it. Ofcourse I spend 5 hrs per day on my phone. Caz that's where I work, learn and entertain 🙂

something has to be done about smartphone addiction. social media should not be consuming everyone's lives but it is. between work, chores and our smartphones how much time is actually left over at the end of the day for social connection, self improvement and productive hobbies?

For those of us in sales...
We are also addicted to customer service which means we must always answer our phones.

This graph is probably very skewed by Uber/DoorDash/etc workers who constantly have GPS running.

It seems duplicitous to talk about spending too much time on the Internet in a video that’s made to be viewed on the Internet.
