Illinois State Police to release body cam video of Sonya Massey's death

Body camera footage detailing the moments before and after a white Illinois sheriff's deputy recently shot and killed a Black woman is scheduled to be released at 2 p.m. on Monday.

Now-former Deputy Sean Grayson, 30, has since been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting and is in custody without bond. He was also indicted on charges of aggravated battery with a firearm and official misconduct. He pleaded not guilty in his first court appearance Thursday.

The video is available online on via a Time magazine article with the video from Fox 32 Chicago. I watched the video, the shooter cop did not have his body cam on and you can hear him tell a big cover up lie & say "I am not going to have boiling water hit me, that already reached me". This is clearly a lie as can be seen via the body cam video of the other officer standing behind the shooter cop. Also, the woman went to get the pot of boiling water, because the cops said they did not want a fire as they refer to the steaming pot of hot water, so she was actually complying, trying to remove the boiling pot off the stove. Can you feel and say RAGE?! She was also crouching as stated in the comments below. There was no threat to the officer and he went toward her in a road rage type fashion for some reason. The victim was very calm and non-threatening. Horrific to say the least. That cop murdered a poor black woman for no farking reason.

I watched the video, she was clearly very mentally unwell, and not in her right mind at the time. And as for the ex officer, he is a complete sociopath, and I think he would have shot someone regardless of race, he was just itching to kill someone. I mean who pulls a gun, over boiling water possibly being thrown at them? Yeah it would hurt but it wouldn't kill you! That and his remarks were disgusting, he had absolutely no regard whatsoever for human life! May he for the remainder of his life rot in prison!
