Is there a lag/dropout of audio when switching between amps? How bad, if so??

Brett Is the amplifier going direct into a PC, PA, amp, power speakers, camera? I ordered one of those units but am unsure which method will give the best tones possible in a live situation. I can't afford the atomic CLR. So I am looking for other options. You got any suggestions?

Is it as realistic as the Ax8 ? I mean, do you have that same "feel" when playing ? Some people say it's not :-/ It is so important to me I would spend almost twice the price on an Ax8 (if what I heard is true). Help !!!!
