As a Black woman who was born and raised and still resides in NJ; but attended college at Chapel HIll - NC, it is becoming more diverse and more blue each day. I know several people through personal and work relationships who have moved to NC and SC over the past several years. Make no mistake, there are a ton of NJ and NY folks who are moving south and they are taking their values with them. In my opinion, BOTH states are in play.
