I live in Iran and still put my finger on the last zero😂 we don't use Rial when we speak or ask for a price. it's kinda governmental things

I've been to more than 80 countries and i have to admit, 🇮🇷 is in my top 3.
Great people, never experienced such a level of hospitality and honesty anywhere in the world

As an Iranian, when i use the card to pay, i have to check twice to see if i aded the right amount of zeros, because prices being in Tuman and paying in Rial situation is confusing for us too!😅🙂

HI Drew! I recently visited Iran in December 2021 much owing to your introduction a couple years ago that the country is no different from others or even better. I can attest that you were right! I feel a lot worse in the UK where I live and had my iPhone robbed. I had an amazing trip with my wife and two daughters! I trust you've been informed but people of Iran use debit cards these days, and there are ones for tourists as well (not all card providers are active after shutting out toursts) I picked one up and I didn't have to carry too much cash and settlments at the shops, restaurants, stalls at bazaar, and tourist sites, I mean everywhere, were a breeze. Also, I had a great time in the island of Hormuz. It was so peaceful and the natural scenary was amazing! Hope you have a great time again in Iran and show it to the world!

It's really not confusing since in shops above prices there "T", "ت" or "تومان" which means toman currency.
If there was "ر", "R" or "ریال" above them, it mean rial currency but people mostly use toman currency since rial is very very cheap.
But i recommend people to visit Iran, not just for the environment but because everything is cheap over there (you can even buy a whole apartment house with 10000$)
