How To Shift A Dodge Ram Into Neutral With Engine Off

In this quick tip video I show a simple method of shifting a late model Dodge Ram Pickup into neutral with the engine off. This method involves accessing and engaging the manual park release lever. You may need to engage the manual neutral lever when towing or servicing your truck when it requires the engine to be off or the vehicle won’t start. Watch this video for more information. Please use care and apply the parking brake when attempting this as the vehicle may roll when placed in neutral.

thank you so much for your video. I'm getting a dodge ram into neutral when there's no power. I'm certain of the gas station is grateful as I was blocking all of their pumps and couldn't move the vehicle.
