We are a poor socialist country; we do not reward merit. We are obsessed with equity & representation of every caste, community & religion. We look at industrialists suspiciously. We want the rich to be taxed higher. We want a wealth tax. We want most of the budget to be used only for poverty alleviation schemes and for endless schemes & scholarships for minorities.
