Thangalaan overall a decent watch!
Positives:
- Vikram & Parvathi acting
- GV’s music (Though the bgm was repetitive it’s suits for the plot)
- 2nd half (This is the portion where the story begins)
- Plot & the politics the movie speaks

Drawback:
- Apart from Vikram & Parvathi no other character looks impressive & lively (Not expected from the director of Sarpetta paramabara)
- Average 1st half (Full of travel)
- Dialect & editing of the movie (Usually dialogues will be the plus for a Ranjith movie but unfortunately couldn’t follow the movie because of the dialect & some jump cuts)
- Entire movie experience resembles Bala’s “Paradesi” except the source is gold instead of Tea!

This is a dialogue writing masterclass by Ranjith and co. Probably the best dialogue writing in modern Tamil cinema. The dialogue Vikram talks by himself in between, a normal amateur writer cannot pull it off. Its Max pro level. Literally a literary masterpiece.

Feeling sad to watch vikram sir's right leg completely, very much dislocated😥 but frankly speaking what an extraordinary actor he a gem of acting so many detailing and layers he did with so much hard work and persurence it literally reflects on screen, he should get national award for best actor. As a cinema fan I salute 🫡no words to Ranjith sir🫡🫡🫡🫡👏👏👏👏
