Tip 6 + 7 :
Don’t use the same route if you can’t challenge the enemy. Especially against another sniper. Probably if he keeps using the same head glitch / position
Leads to the next point which is don’t go through the same route every time as the enemies would know where you are and try to use different tactics to kill you.

Here's my 2 tips:
Don't plant the bomb immediately, plant when there's 3 enemies alive. (The more teammates alive the better your chances at winning the round)
Don't pick up the bomb if your not gonna plant it and your gonna rush the enemies base. Its gonna get ugly if you take the bomb to the other side of the map...

Tip: when your defusing the bomb put smoke so the enemy can’t find you tip 2: always lay to prevent shoots from enemy

Tip:When on defense on firing range use a trophy and capitalize on a long headglitch. A good sniper will never loose a fight from here and get a teammate in trailer to block flank. Play time and GG you win

Just started but I really hope you tell them not to even pick up the bomb at all…
Edit: well no one ever does this. Newbs are racing to grab it first but all u do is sabotage your own team that way soon as they hear “ the bomb has been dropped “ It’s camping time and easy way to hand them the win.
LEAVE THE BOMB AND TRY TO SHOOT THE ENEMY OR THOW A MOLOTOV AT HIM OR WHATEVER IT IS YOU FEEL WILL HELP U GET AT LEAST ONE KILL. sorry to those who just read my random vent session and know exactly what I’m saying.

And use dead silence , Quick fix, light weight, Sharpnel, Tracker, Ghost and if you're a ninja defuser then use the perk which gives you two tactical granades perks only
Use Molotov, Smoke or Trophy system

My tactic to win was to avoid frontal attack specially when depending, gotta stay alive till they run out of time, most of my teammate's always die even before the enemy's can plant the bomb (゜o゜;

And when we are on attacking side, i always separated from the team in order to flank the enemies works couple of times just gotta learn how to harass them without dying.
