just did the math, at $3 per cell it would be $36 per AH @12 volt. That would be $3600 for a 100 AH 12 volt battery. since they sell these in the $700 range it makes this build pretty counterproductive.

But 12.8V is the maximum voltage at full charge right? Wont it drop to 9-10V as the battery runs low? Is that enough to run 12V devices?

can someone who know about batteries tell me if its ok to build 13s 4p that normally needs 52 batteries with just 45 batteries . That mean the last set only will have 6 batteries connectes in series with each other and in parallel with other 3 sets of 13s ????
