I mean the fact you gotta buy the remastered version even to play the mod gets them money, I think the fear would be another team creating a revisited game that’s better than what they’ve put out in the past ten years, it’s fear not greed, they are apart of the biggest gaming community out there with a budget that most AAA developers wish they had

Remember when call of duty started with the name "medal of honor killer" the project that wanted to take down the poor management of the medal of honor saga?, yeah they're probably scared of what people can do so they just lay the hammer to hopefully "prevent" any future problem (call of duty killer).

I stopped buying cod games after modern warfare 2019. With the exception of black ops Cold War but I only played it for the story because it was my childhood. But everything they put out now is just dogshit.

1. Black ops 6, a gane thats been in development for 4 years, is right around the corner. Why would they want another gane subtracting away from their up coming games' sales?

2. We've seen three other "modded server" games like this shut down. What makes you think they are suddenly going to be okay with this one without even being asked or anything?

I’m not siding with Activision. I know they’re a profit hungry company but your logic makes no sense as you said people willing to play a modded version of an old game are most likely core fans So if they’re playing modern warfare two rather than buying black ops six, it will affect Activision sales
