I have been told many times in my life that I'm definitely someone who looks outside the box. For example, I have been walking with groups of people and found money laying on the ground, that everybody else never noticed. I've also found solutions to things that everybody else thought was pure genius. I think they were overreacting just a little because the idea never occurred to them, is all.

I recently learned that I have face blindness (Prosopagnosia). This means that for the most part, I do not recognize people when I look only at their face. Because of this, I have to memorize something different about them, like a defining feature (like a scar), or the way they speak and so on.

Something unique to them.

Because I look at things differently, compared to most people, it makes me wonder if this trait carries over into other areas of life and is the origin of, "Thinking outside the box".
