Chicago - Stay The Night (AOR Guitar Cover)

I've been meaning to get back into some Chicago and hope to cover all the tracks that have significant guitar from 16 to 19. This is another classic Cetera and Foster co-write with some great guitar work and killer solo. Now, the album has guitar credits for Chris Pinnick (who of course was in the band at the time) but also Michael Landau, Paul Jackson Jr and Mark Goldenberg. Live, Pinnick would play something different, although it should be noted that the solo section was extended so that could be a possible reason why, but he doesn't seem to play any of the licks in the recorded version. Goldenberg co-wrote Along Comes a Woman and Prima Donna so I assume that's where his guitar credits come from. So, that leaves Landau and Jackson Jr but I assume Paul was brought in for mostly clean rhythm. Or maybe Lukather is on it uncredited haha...either way it's a fun solo and the rhythm parts are really cool too. Love the video also!

I use a Charvel DK24 (it's purple) into a Boss Me50 into a Palmer Pdi-09 into a Focusrite Scarlett into my computer running Logic Pro X.
