As someone who used to cashier i am absolutely not looking at little serial numbers on a bill if there’s a bunch of people in line. Not when people will yell at you and spit on you for it. 🤷🏼‍♀️
I’ve never been paid enough or had enough time to also be focused on fraud protection
Edit: As cashiers, we are trained to NOT defend against robberies. That isn’t our job. It never was. I have no idea who gave y’all the idea that a cashiers life is worth less than $100.
