Rishi Sunak has 'conflict of interest' over wife's finances - Emily Thornberry

Shadow Attorney General Emily Thornberry says there seems to be a "conflict of interest" over the finances of Rishi Sunak's wife, and the Chancellor should have declared her tax position.

She also discusses the denials made by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov over war crimes in Ukraine.

Ms Thornberry said Russia should be held to account, and fears we don't know the "full extent of the horror" in other areas of Ukraine.

It is INDIA's money - we have no right to take it. This is an Indian company that was created in India, is owned by an Indian citizen and operates in India. Any tax revenues should go to the India exchequer to benefit the Indian economy and people. We have no right to take the tax, it is India's.

The point is that Sunak and his wife live in a house PAID FOR BY US, the taxpayers, AND his wife does NOT PAY TAX into the British "coffers". It may not be illegal but it is a slap in the face for all of US who have to pay his INCREASES.

My MP kit Malthouse was moaning the day after a 2.2k pay rise that he will struggle on the £115k wage. Last year he claimed a quarter of a million in expenses. Of which £30k was for rent on his constituency house. Let that sink in for a moment, he claimed more than an average pre tax wage on rent for a house. Clearly public transport is way beneath this W⚓️

Non Domiciled people can generically move money's the same as Oligarch's and whilst Non Domiciled taxes is payed within law; most people know it is a law that needs immediate change because of the unfair movement of World wealth without being taxed only benefits the Richest People.

But then who does this woman like? She obviously does not like the English as that guy who hung the English flags outside his house was targeted by her. The Welsh, Northern Irish and Scottish have their own parliament, not England. The Welsh, Northern irish and Scottish can have national pride but not the English who will be instantly branded as Fascist Xenophobes on any hint of nationalistic pride. I am mainly a Celt myself but I do feel sorry for the Anglo Saxons who are alone in essentially by definition being the definition of non-ethnic, hence unrepresented and have to suffer whatever comes their way. In some ways this is a compliment to their resilience whilst everyone else apparently needs protection.

She did resign as Shadow Attorney General over the incident mentioned but has obviously crept back in when the dust has settled which seems the same across all the party lines nowadays. In the past the custom for the politician usually was to move with a fanfare in to charity to help raise funds from existing taxpayers to make up the deficit from their tax avoidance or find the Lord. Now they just slide back in to cosy up again with their chums again when the lessons learnt are forgotten as always happens.
