I just bought the 709 from Amazon.I have been borrowing my sisters Brother i2700, not exactly sure that's the right number.I'm a guy who really only need's a sewing machine for hemming blue jeans or maybe sewing a shirt pocket back on after it has come loose.I figured if I had my sisters sewing machine, & it broke while I was using it, I would be obligated to fix it or buy her another one so I still wouldn't have my own sewing machine.I at one time worked at a blanket, quilt and drapery factory running a 120 bobbin quilting machine.
