This is one of the 1st IFR clearance videos out there.
Clean, professional, real world application.
I would appreciate more of them!

Very helpful, my problem is it happens so fast, hard to keep up. More practice.

100% I found this helpful! And I already have my ticket! Yes more please! I love being able to practice scenarios that I haven't yet seen IRL.

Oh this video is perfect! I just started IFR a week and a half ago. Couldn’t find much out there for practicing CRAFT but luckily I picked it up quick. Even so, this scenario had a nice twist that I wasn’t prepared for as someone who flies out of a towered airport. Can’t wait for more IFR content.

These instructional videos are unbelievable helpful! They have really helped me out. Makes it even easier because the airports you use are local to me

I used to fly out of GAI and FDK, and more than once, while on an IFR flight plan, they vectored me directly over top of Dulles. I remember one time a hole in the clouds opening up, I looked down, and saw the Dulles runway environment right below me.

I'm new to IFR and for one reason or another I keep fumbling through my radio work. This video helps. I just wish I could hit 'pause' on the ATC while I'm in the air. Lol!!

One thing I've found helpful is to do your homework ahead of time. With prior knowledge of what initial altitude I'll likely get, ForeFlight's notification of my cleared route ahead of time, and knowing which departure frequency I'll likely get, I can usually have everything ahead of time except the squawk code. A little planning makes clearances super easy and makes you sound like a pro.

I think that first arrow at 1:06 is wrong. It's pointing to the AWOS number, whereas the correct would be the CD phone 3 lines down.

Very helpful! I'd like a bunch more of these clearance practices. They really help with me getting comfortable hearing the fire hose of information they send. That new Thanks option is interesting. I'd consider using it if I knew it was all going to the content producers and not YouTube. I already pay them to skip ads. Thanks!

Great content, Keep it coming! Much better than the nonsense I paid $300 for. I got my instrument rating in 2007 and haven’t even shot an approach in 10 years. Getting current and building time right now. I’m looking to do my CFI next year. Thanks again!
