Vladimir Putin says Edward Snowden will not be extradited from Russia to America

Russian president Vladimir Putin says NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden is currently in a transit area of Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport and is free to leave the country.

Speaking alongside Finland's president Sauli Niinistö, Putin's admittal comes only hours after his government's officials seemingly denied Snowden had flown from Hong Kong to Russia. The US seeks Snowden's return to face charges of espionage

Snowden is not a hero but he does deserve to be pardoned. USA needs an open dialogue on our privacy. Freedom is what our forefathers fought for and sacrificed their fortunes and family. Snowden took a steep mountain without any protection. We must pave a road for an open dialog.

how many people have been killed and wounded in Iraq since the 2003 United States invasion. This is THE REASON why I highly admire and respect President Putin of Russia. When the whole world has abandoned Edward Snowden for being the righteous person he is, it was President Putin, of all people, who graciously step up to help him in his greatest hour of need by freely offering him asylum in Russia without any attached conditions.
