The 1968 150E was recalled. The 250 was the first production sled, then they improved it halfway through the 1969 production run, and the 'old' 250 became the 220 and the 250 got a larger engine and some other upgrades.

I found this same sled up in the woods someone dumped it on the side of the road real rough and seized. I think I sold a few parts off it and junked it too bad, I’ve been looking for an older one maybe Johnson or something merc would be nice !

Nice sled man! I have a Mercury 250er sled but it sat outside and water corroded the heads and seized the engine an ruined the heads. Planning on putting a used 440 motor in it.
