I know a family of tall people here in North Carolina. Keith was 6:10. Keith's father was also 6:10. His sister is 6:8. Keith's son went to a private school on a basketball scholarship and then the University of Virginia. He was 7:4 and on a scholarship. His ankles gave out and he had to stop playing though. People don't realize that these tall people are very heavy. Even the thin ones can weigh almost 300 or more pounds. The weight wears out their knees and ankles. The Metheny family also marries tall people from other families so the height gene is always dominant.
know another guy who played basketball for Davidson College. I think he was 6:10 and his wife is 6:6 and both his son and daughter are very tall and went to college on basketball scholarships.
