You've inspired me so much to make mods in MCreator! I created my first ever mob today called the cuber which is a slime like mob which doesnt take damage to falling, cacti etc and is a lot faster and stronger than slimes. I made them neutral rather than hostile as they are a bit OP but I made them drop 1-4 emeralds to make the risk:reward ratio balanced. But anyways thank you for the inspiration! You should do more of these videos btw! :D

Fascinating to see the process and multiple tools that you used to make the models.

The baby dragons death sound was a bit to loud in my opinion.

Keep up the great work

I think a cool Mob to fit into the game would be a Hostile Cave Mob..

Maybe something like a Lava Crawler.. The design would just look like a Dragon head with Arms and a Snake Body.. Since diamonds can often be found near lava pools, I think it would pose a pretty good challenge..

These are all pretty cool. I like 'em. :D
(My only real criticism is that you didn't notice the untextured back of the ears on the Cerberus and I noticed it immediately. Lol (I assume you've noticed that since doing this tho, since I'm surely not the first to point it out))
(Also, you didn't have to be super exact with the centipede's leg count. Lol)

A direct remark on the shading topic: As you can see, the base model looks kinda garbled. In GIMP, there are actually some ways to avoid this. For the most part, the key is using layers. One way would be to draw the purple on a separate layer, and then to apply the noise only to that layer. However you can also duplicate the golem texture layer, draw the purple, then turn the old layer into a diff, put it on top, and use Color to Transparency. By selecting the right shade of green, one can turn the lines into pure shading, so the exact same shading as before is applied to the purple. Alternatively, one can duplicate the layer, reduce the top copy to the green with Select by Color + Invert Selection + Delete, and then use the HSV Modification Tool to change it into purple. (Sorry if I mess up the tool names, it's been ages since I used GIMP in English.)

Idk if you'll see this, but I have two mod ideas. 1. Void creepers. A creeper that can teleport like an enderman, and is the same height as a wither skeleton, (so it can be blocked by a 2 high roof, but if it touches water, - rain, source block, waterlogged items or flowing water - it reverts back to a normal creeper. Has a chance to drop an enderpearl if killed in void state, or normal drops if killed in creeper state. 2. Elemental arrows. Water, Earth, Fire, Air. Water: Creates a source block of water on either the block it hits, or at the feet of the mob it hits, does normal damage. Crafting recipe is bucket of water over arrow, does not use up the bucket. Fire: Creates a 3*3 area of fire where it hits, has normal damage, and is created by surrounding the arrow in 4 firecharges. Air: Blows the mob it hits back 3 blocks in the direction the arrow was shot, has no other effects. (Kind of like the korok leaf in BOTW) Is made by combining an empty bottle with arrow. Does consume bottle. Inflicts no damage. Earth. Creates a 3*3 wall out of the block you create it in, wall faces the way you shoot it from, works as a normal arrow if it hits a mob. Is created by surrounding the arrow in 1 of 4 blocks. stone, cobble, dirt, grass. Ty

Edit: spelling

if you make another one of these make a mod where there are a biome flying in the sky, like a heaven biome. A little like the Aether but a biome instead of a dimension. :)

So, since you're making MCreator tutorials, here's some advice for everyone who uses MCreator:
- Use loot tables for block and entity drops whenever possible. Those aren't hard to add since most of them can be copied from Vanilla.
- Do *_not_* use the loot table/recipe generator! Instead, copy them from the default datapack, and then edit them to suit your needs. People actually see these when they want to customize your mod. I remember opening up the recipes of Ocean Gems and it hurt to look at. Please don't do that to anyone. Not sure regarding advancements, having seen any that were made with MCreator, but they're probably not much better.
- In a similar vein, keep in mind that *_using hardcoded advancement triggers is an absolute antipattern._* Most of the time, what you want to do can already be expressed with the Vanilla triggers. If it actually cannot, implement a custom trigger type. Keep custom trigger types generic and extract specifics into check fields (e.g. used_item_on_entity with an entity field is better than used_item_on_custom_entity_xy), so people can further benefit from your mod by using your trigger in their datapacks.

I want a Kaiju mob! It spawns at a distance. To approach it is death. It’s more of storm that you want avoid. It decimates villages and anything you create if you have the bad luck of it spawning near you. It would be so fun!

Could make a mod that adds a Doomslayer mob (From the Doom games) with special ability’s that will spawn in the nether and if you give him 25 diamonds he will help fight hostile mobs along side you and follow you around.
Weapons ideas for him to have: (These are some of the weapons from the games)
BFG
ChainGun
Super Shotgun
Crucible

I think Steve’s will to survive mod would be cool which would add a ton of mobs passive aggressive and neutral

add mini-creepers that attack you but only explode when you kill it. Add vampires that live in a haunted house (it uses bats to attack you), make bone swords and bone bows, mix gunpowder and an empty bottle to make a hand grenade, let bats drop wings that let you make an umbrella to float down from a high place without damage.

You know how there are abandoned mineshafts, temples, and strongholds in Minecraft? There are theories that there were ancient civilizations who created these structures. Maybe you could make a mod of those ancient civilizations being alive. You get to see mineshafts and temples being built in front of your eyes - or even interact with the builders (npcs)!

idea:
hitting zero health, instead of killing you, makes you fall over unconscious. If you get more than 1 hp of damage while down, you die. Otherwise, you remain alive on the ground. Zombies can feast on your flesh to kill you in this state. Spiders can cocoon you and take turns sucking hp from you, eventually killing you. If you are undisturbed, you can regain consciousness, somewhat. You wake up, only able to crawl. Any damage while crawling will knock you unconscious again. If you are undamaged, you will get up and be at half a heart. Totems of undying only trigger if you die while unconscious, raising your HP to 3 hearts, waking you up immediately, and doing the other things that totems do.
