Thank you for praising the Yoga 9i 14 gen 7 more than the XPS 13 Plus. The 9i 14 gen 7 innovated in a lot of ways better than the XPS did. Rather against it having keys that shift the keyboard to the left tho (have a Spectre x360 14, dislike those keys as well) so here's to hoping Lenovo changes their mind about them and removing them in next year iteration

When will they build a drawing tablet into the touch pad? It is so obvious, and you don't need to create frankenstein's monster! The XPS 13 will be a failure - you need a headphone jack for light gaming and even Apple removed the horrible touch bar.

I've seen 3 videos of similar headlines and I think they should say - new laptops at CES 2022. I wouldn't recommend any of these to my clients. 95% of my clients care about a few things in the following order - weight, weight, performance and battery life. The majority of my clients aren't gaming or editing video. They use Word, Excel, Outlook, Chrome, Teams, Zoom and maybe a VPN client with remote desktop. They want a reasonably fast i5 or i7, 16GB of memory, a 1TB ssd, Wifi6 in a 2lb 13", 2.5lb 15" or a 3lb 17". A second screen or a built in popcorn popper may be cool but I don't think the majority of people would prioritize them over weight.

Why do people keep saying "we used to miss our headphone jacks on our phone"?

We still do! Not all of us, but many of us.

When there are no phones in my budget made with one, yes I'll buy one without, because I'm not willing to lose the other features by buying a cheap phone with the jack. But I still miss it. Marketing is not telling me what I want, just what I can buy.

Stop lying to us and tell us what we want and do or do not miss, we know what we want.
