Landscape lighting walkthrough of a modern home lighting design where I discuss some obstacles to overcome, installation techniques and fixture choices I utilized to illuminate the architecture to capture the fullness while avoiding bedroom light pollution. Most new home sites in our area are clearcut and most existing trees are either not specimen quality or are too close and bulldozed; having any trees to light up is a blessing. Trees planted in the forefront allow us to develop layers in the lighting scene.
