Here’s what you need to do to make this work:
If you have Apple Pencil 2st generation
Attach your Apple Pencil to the magnetic connector on the long side of your iPad.

If you have Apple Pencil 1st generation
plug the Apple Pencil into the ipad or use the USB power adapter

I don’t know who made Apple pencils and earbuds charge on the same slot but I hope both sides of their pillow are warm from now one because I hate when my pencils and iPad are both low and I have to choose one until it’s fully charged while the other dies and I can’t charge my iPad without listening to music through earbuds either

I’m assuming this won’t charge while the iPad is in the OtterBox? It’s going to be extremely irritating to take the iPad out of the OtterBox every time I need to charge that stupid pencil.

I don't have the new one. I only have the old one. This is not useful, I do not recommend using this tutorial if you don't have the new one
