Over the last few months, JBL has put out their Partybox 310 and their Partybox 110. And both of these box speakers are great. They sound and look amazing. But then out of nowhere, JBL announced their Partybox 710. And this thing is simply overkill. But if you’re thinking about pickup the Partybox 710… then this is the video for you.

I have the partybox 110 and it's more than what i use, can't imagine how powerful this speaker is

The fact that it doesn’t have a battery is depressing, since this speaker would be nice to put in a vehicle. It would probably get your mirrors shaking pretty good without any wiring or work

In my opinion jbl should add sound EQ to the partyboxes, so you can use the bass, treble and echo for your music, just like on the new sony speakers where you can Equalize the music in their app.

One fine evening my cousin got the JBL pb 310 and brought it to show us at our house, i was in awe as i had never experienced such clear and crisp loudness in my life except in those assembled china products which started distorting at higher volumes.
My dad liked it so much that we got one of our pwn the very next day, the JBL pb 310...we heard pretty good music but there was a dissatisfaction on my father's face, when i asked him he said that it was not loud enough and bass was not that powerful (even on charging, i.e a full 240RMS) and in showroom he saw the 710 besides the 310...i guess his mind was stuck there
I resonated a bit with him on that point...so we started narrowing down the pros and cons of 310 vs 710 and concluded to choose btwn either we want portability (as of battery in 310) or extra performance (bass)...money too was a point to consider but dad told that if we buy something like this we ought to keep it for atleast 7-8 years and thus that extra premium of 20k becomes a moot point
Now coming to 310's battery associated portability feature...any battery in the world is going to deteriorate at a point in time and afterwards we have to use the device on constant power supply only...so why not do it from the start!!
And also we werent't going to move the speaker around much plus my father has 2 sons who can carry him as well as the speaker anywhere he wants 😅😊
So finally we returned the 310 the very next day and brought in the 710...rest is history 🔥🔥

Just bought one today, was thinking of bringing it back because the sound and base is so powerful. Only reason why I didn't is because this party box is the only speaker available In my area. Connected microphone as well via Bluetooth and works very well. The lights are cool as well, lite up my living room. Bought it with no idea it was going to produce that much sound and base. Don't even need the base booster. Overall, for the price it's a really is a great speaker.

Being a basshead myself, which PartyBox speaker should I get, the 710 or 1000? I know that the 1000 has a down-firing 12" subwoofer, but after seeing this video, maybe the 710 would be more than enough for me. 😕

I just bought it refurbished for 600. I work at a factory so i'm in a super loud environment already (100-110db) Hopefully this speaker can keep up

Can it be placed horizontally? without affecting the treble output.
I have a PartyBox 300 and it has a treble which when you put Horizontally it activates and so you appreciate the uniform treble

Hey, I'd like to use the 710 with a power station, but there is absolutely no information about the power draw... Has anybody tested this yet?

I’ve recently had to sale both my JBL Flip 4 as well as my JBL Charge 4. Well trying to buy a used speaker or something affordable, I bought a used Beats Pill+ and believe me…JBL and Beats Pill+…JBL is winning…

Uh oh.. you say it's overkill for the average person. I just ordered one on a BF sale.. will be here in a few days. Im going to be in trouble.. 😮

i have to disagree with the overkill part.
my parents in their 60s bought the 710 and i would say it’s perfect! they use it on the porch while sitting outside near the pool having a “fika”.
when they have guests it’s perfect for their parties, the Samsung N950 atmos system was not even close to cutting it out for them.
if they play music inside the house some sit in the kitchen and chat there while others enjoy the bass shaking quality that is JBL in the living room. no need for bass boost at all that will distort music.

if you got a house i would wholeheartedly recommend the 710, it is NOT overkill.

since i live in an apartment i might be drawn more to the 310, dragging it to my outside area which is about 20-30 square meters or so and have music blasting in the summer 👍🏻

so most of the instrumental sounds come from the tweeters while the woofers supply the bass without much instrumental?
