Yeah, it locks the speaker, i know why, there are some pleople who just connects to your speaker or they turning it on or off, this is the answer for those people :)

it locks the speaker and is helpful for you because people will not be able to connect to your speaker as the speaker denies the connection from the phone

Hello, I contacted jbl and from what they've told me is its a demo mode so I think stores would use it but they said it shouldn't be used by owners but it won't damage the speaker

As DarkMarioSK wrote, this is not a strange feature, but a locking feature that prevents accidental button presses. I assume you only read the manual before posting such videos? Obviously this is your first JBL PB speaker because everyone has this feature. Or have you really not read the instructions for use?

When I bought the speaker all the lights on top they used to work the Bluetooth and the bass boost now for some reason they are completely off and I cannot get them ON The bass boost works but I don’t see the light.

I today bought the partybox 710 and the base treble and echo buttons are free rotating. Usually rotation is limited between + and - but on partybox 710 these buttons rotate left or right without any stop. So just wondering mine is broken or not?
