115 volts or 230 volts on your 3D Printer? 115v vs 230v

All 3D Printers have two voltage options. 115 volts is standard for the US, while 230 volts is used in other countries. If you have power issues, check this setting to ensure the correct voltage is selected.

This is shown on a @creality Ender 3 V2. This voltage tab can be found on the back of most 3D printers.

If the switch shows 230 volts, does that mean it is on 230 voltage or on 115 ?

I accidentally ran my 3 pro on 230 for 4 months and just switched it over to 120. I'm in the US and have had issues with this thing for several months and never knew about the voltage switch

230 saves money if you already have an 220 or 230 outlet. But 115 is the standard.
