Its called broken windows policy. We had it before, it worked and then New Yorkers called it racist.

Pro tip: if you get caught just call yourself an illegal and you'll be alright. They will even give you money 😂

Does no one understand how expensive it gets to ride trains and buses. MTA isnt losing money from someone who has none

That’s not the only turn style the criminals will be going through. The NYC courts also have them. You walk in then you get out within a few hours. It’s a revolving door. No fines. No punishment. No fear.

This is what Giuliani did day one of his administration, and it worked. It's called the "Broken Windows Theory" Take care of the small things and the big things take care of themselves. I just wish the Adams administration would admit it.

Why don’t the government crack down on the CROCKED MTA! Raising fares and not fixing anything that is broken??

Utica Avenue in Brooklyn ? That door is always wide open. It's very rare I've seen people pay. The cops are always standing there. These arrests are being done for the cameras.

People don't understand that stopping low level crimes has a major effect on reducing major offenses.

But won't this disproportionately affect the people who are disproportionately not paying their fares?
