Tracking Trump’s cabinet picks
President-elect Trump announced on Tuesday that he will nominate Dr. Mehmet Oz to serve as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator in January. There is also much discussion about who Trump could choose for one of his most critical Cabinet roles: treasury secretary.

Trump’s legal cases
New York prosecutors said Tuesday they’ll oppose dismissing Trump’s hush money case as his sentencing looms, but they expressed some openness to delaying it until after his impending second term.

On Monday, The Georgia Court of Appeals canceled oral arguments scheduled for next month in Trump’s effort to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the 2020 election interference against Trump and many others.

Trump should take the case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court — write an executive order specifying that a D.A.’s office MUST continue with sentencing AND that there is an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, and that the U.S. Supreme Court MUST fully analyze the case to a logical and legally sound decision. And, uhhh, Merchan is TOTALLY political — his daughter raised campaign funds for the DNC to the tune of almost $100 million.
