SURROUNDED by an astonishing 15,000 collectibles - real life superman fanatic Christopher Dennis' Super man memorabilia is worth a whopping $100,000. Actor Chris, 45, a Christopher Reeve look-a-like, is so besotted with Superman, his prized real life superman collection has invaded every room in his Hollywood apartment. It means his flatmate Jack often struggles to find things that get lost amongst the chaotic hoard of blue and red super man objects. Chris got married to ex-wife Bonnie Finkenthal, 42, while DRESSED as Superman, and both feel it even played a role in their divorce.

Following Chris' dream of becoming a real life superman, the pair had tied the knot in 2012 in Metropolis, Illinois, because it shares the same with Superman's fictional home on Earth. The ceremony took place underneath a 15-foot Superman statue with Chris in full costume as a real life superman - complete with the character's trademark hair curl. Chris, has also been dressing up as a real life superman and impersonating Super man for crowds on Los Angeles' famous Hollywood Boulevard for 20 years. From superman themed crockery in the kitchen to tiny super man action figures, his living room, kitchen and bathroom is covered in Superman. Number one fan and real life superman Chris also feels he shares some eerie traits with the 'Last Son of Kryptonite' and superman actors who have played him on the big screen. Besides sharing the same first name as superman actor Christopher Reeves - and being his spitting image - he's the same towering height as superman at 6'4" and is also adopted just like Superman.

This guy was on the cover of the movie "Confessions of a Superhero", which detailed the costume culture on the strip in Hollywood. Very interesting documentary. His (then) wife was either a psychology student, or a psychologist (brain 404).

That. That's just sad. Sounds like Superman is taking over. Say what you want about the Batman guy and that one guy who had plastic surgery to look like superman and literally be the man of plastic(his words not mine).
