Just to support;
Firstly, the repair would just have been to adjust the AVR voltage with a precision screwdriver. (Turning it clockwise)

Next, the component connected with the Cap is a bridge rectifier, made of 4 diodes (not a single diode).

And finally, this is a small Gen (popularly called "I-pass-my-neighbour")'s AVR design. This design is fixed, not dynamic -that's why loads are blown up when there's a surge from small generators. This 27X Volts is unsafe (against 220-240)🙏😁

I have this exact model of generator ELEMAX SH2900DX (although with GX 200 engine). Please, how do I determine if it has genuine copper coil or aluminium coil?
If it happens to be aluminium, can you please upload a tutorial on how to build copper coil?

What can i do with the 5 kva 36 uf Capacitor diesel Generator, engine running well, The power coming out is normal with out loads, but when connected to loads the power turns to zero voltage. Nice presentation. May i ask, now that you have around 270VAC, if you require 240VAC, how do we reduce the voltage while maitaining frequency at 50Hz?

We need to have step down converter for that.
