Hi there, can you tell me if there is a different in regulators between 110 and 220 volt generators? I have changed my regulator on a 220 volt generator but now i have no more voltage as 140! I have turn the little blue regulator in the avr all the way up but without succes.

Can some one give my advice please I have years problems with my standard Delco 12si alternator I need to use different capacitor types for my ignition system but sadly the capacitors interact with my cutt in current or starting charge rpm .
Insted normal rpm 1000-1200 rpm it get swaped for exampel I use hv ceramic capacitor meaning my alternator constantly back feads true the bulb pin 2 isnt used the back fead wont stop unless I rev my engine more around 3000-4000rpm.
So please can some one notifi my if avr system wuld work or not on my Delco 12si alternator or culd I use magnet alternator with those old extermal regulators like current cut out selenoids or similar my land does not have solar panel regulators.
So I hoppe some one understands my problem.
I desire cloosed loop system that prevents back fead and reverse polarity protection for my other devices.
Im realy anoyed at that thing .
