How a Flu Virus Binds a Host Cell | MoD Animation | MoA Animation | Science Animation

Показать описание
How can an influenza virus pass from animal to human, when the molecules of the cells on which they 'land' are different? To find out, researchers at the University of Twente together with the Royal GD veterinary laboratory have developed a sensor chip that has an increasing number of 'binding sites'. The virus 'rolls' over the surface until it is sufficiently bound.
