It has been a pleasure watching this series during 2024. Even though technology moves quick, I think that the core understanding for Ansible still holds up by participating in this course. Highly recommend it! Thanks a lot, Jeff!

Thank you very much for all the knowledge shared Jeff, I took a hands-on ansible course previous to your 101 series and I learned a lot from both.

I sponsored on github because I want to:
-pay for his Leanpub books, which I did not pay nearly enough.
-pay for his free Youtube courses which in person would cost me 1000s of dollars.
-pay for saved time by using Ansible role roles and vagrant boxes which would cost me a few days to create myself when starting.
-The set of standard Ansible roles give me a flying start in automating at work and home and provide guidance in writing my own roles.

Jeff Geerling, do you know how to run filter plugins as login user from ansible awx, because when I launch template from ansible awx, i am calling plugins to modify few files but it's failing to do because those plugins are executed as root only even though i am login as non root

Hello, Jeff,

thank you for the great videos/streams. I could learn a lot.
is there a way or module in ansible to check at certain intervals if the service on the server is still available?
E.g. i want to check every 30 seconds if the DHCP service of my server is still online and if not a playbook should be executed.
Maybe you can give me a keyword, which i can search for?
