I've watched this in full at least five times now. I think it finally hit me that I'm soothed each time by this video not just because of the majestic alien landscape, or the haunting ethereal music, or the lovely Icelandic towns and cities that remind me of my birthplace in Iowa -- but the occasional friendly Icelander who waves as we pass, bidding me a good journey. I only wish I could wave back.

Watching this in advance of a dream road trip in Iceland when this quarantine ends. Good to know, watching the rough road 2 hours in, that it's a good idea to purchase that extra insurance on the rental vehicle!

So many great things to say about this road trip and the band itself. Ive seen them live 5 times in the USA and my number 1bucket list is to see them in Iceland....fingers crossed!

I did the same trip in 2009 then others all around Iceland, really worth to see...sometimes We felt like earth intruders.

This is a terrific testimony on how this great country looks in 2016. Knowing the huge popularity of Iceland and the expected develpment and population growth, it'll be interesting (and sad) to see how these beautiful places begin to loose their wilderness and magic

The east and south east of Iceland (from Jokulsarlón eastward) is more beautiful than ever thought. All clichees are true. I must visit Iceland in the next summer. <3
