So to speak in simple English, do you mean that a midi is a musical keyboard you connect to the PC instead of the typing keyboard and you play music via the PC loudspeakers?? Do you need to upload a certain computer program to the PC to be able to play music? What is the program called? Sorry for asking these stupid questions but I am an absolute beginner.

Hi. Your tutorials are an absolute blast! I can't thank you enough for your efforts. I have a question for you - I am trying to connect my Roland TD 11kv drums to Ezdrummer2 in my PC through a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface. To trigger Ezdrummer2, should I use a Midi out from my drum module? Or a standard 1/4" line out will suffice? Thanks in advance!
