I've done FX props last year and the year before, only passed phase 1 a few times. never got funded. Been trading Futures prop for 3 months now I have passed combines with ease...in 2-3 days. got funded and pay out. Passed 6 combines in 3 months.

If you keep delving into why the props don’t want you to win, you’ll subconsciously develop a sense of being victimized. You’re not. People are making millions off these firms. Pick the ones that best suits you personally and per time and do your due diligence. With time and enough capital you can go do whatever you want with what you’ve earned.

Great vid Kimmel. Love your content. I was #1 on Uprofit last month and top 50 Topstep leaderboard this month. I can tell you a lot of stories. Stay away from MFF. Topstep so far awesome. Got 19k payout within 48 hrs last week. Requesting another 11k tonight. You want end of day draw on trailing like Topstep not like Apex with unrealized trailing. Cheers

you can only withdraw above the buffer level for a expert MFFU account, for a 50k account the buffer is $2100 so you have to make $53100 to withdraw $1000 dollars, and after you withdraw the buffer resets, BRO ITS HELL

Important to note that with Apex, during the "challenge" the trailing DD continues throughout the entire challenge phase.

Facts. I had to learn through "doing". You can read the rules but when you experience them is when you learn the lesson. Traders once you get the live account. Your next step is to get a buffer of $2k (still not time to withdraw...WAIT) after that you need another buffer *minimum $2k before withdrawal (only a recommendation, should be more) so you don't blow the account ...because you will. If you need money right away...this is not the way. Just like Kimmel said "slow and steady is the only way to keep the account live."

The tradeoff to a 50k account is just that you are starting out less flexible in your drawdown. With futures, you cant size down into infinity like with cfds. The smaller your account size the more likely you are going to be to blow up your account immediately. With a bigger account size you have a better chance still assuming you can control your risk. A smaller size account means the 1 contract minimum in futures automatically increases your risk of failing no matter how good you are. It's still a tighter leash. The smaller account size would only be an advantage if it was cfd style where you can dial back risk more and more to survive while trading a single futures contract doesnt allow you to do that to survive with the smaller account.
