CRISTINA YANG: There my sexual relationship. Preston Burke. On paper. Satisfied?
It is not difficult sir... it is simple. Burke is not here. He's gone and he's the better for it. He's winning the Harper Avery award and being celebrated all over the world. That is not difficult. He's out there and I'm here where everything is the same. I still live in his apartment, I walk the same halls of this hospital, I wear the same scrubs. It is not difficult. This is where I chose to be. But sir, when his hand was shaking, I performed the surgeries, I kept his secrets, I nursed his pride... you know it and I know it, he knows it. He knows it and yet nowhere in that newspaper article does my name appear. I am the unseen hand to his brilliance. And yet while everything is the same it is very, very different. Now I'm lucky if I get to hold a clamp. Hahn treats me like... I was his hand and now I'm a ghost. That is not difficult... it's unbearable. Everybody is proud of him... but I'm not... I do not wish him well.

I will never understand how Sandra Oh did not win Emmys etc. every single year she was on the show. Every year, no matter what the rest of the season was like, she delivered flawless acting like this.

I can’t explain it, but something about her saying “I do not wish him well” makes me feel better about feeling that way sometimes, even though it makes me feel kind of petty

I love how Adele is relating to this with Richard. That sigh she gave was so powerful

Adele’s face when Cristina said she nursed his pride. She was relating to her. 👏

This hits so hard, I cried when I first watched it, she was the backbone of his surgeries for so long and she never got credit! And when he left she got treated like crap from Hahn and it’s so relatable

Sandra Oh should have been nominated every year

The best actor on Grey's without a doubt was Sandra Oh. It blows my mind that she never got an Emmy for her work on Grey's.
It also seems to me that after 10 seasons on the show, Cristina never loved a man like she loved Burke, not even Owen. It's a shame that he broke her because he was the only one who understood her.

This scene is so good. What a complex and yet so believeble character Cristina is! Gonna miss her in Grey's Anatomy best times.

I can't believe this had happened to me in real life. The unseen hand [brain] to his brilliance [success]. I couldn't resonate with this scene, with Cristina any more than I already do.

What makes the scene better is the fact there's no music. Grey's is notorious with choosing the perfect song for the scene but I'm glad there wasn't any here.
