A woman was trapped underneath a couch after trying to move furniture. Her daughter, Claire Hickman, recorded the incident. The woman was pinned under the couch after the sofa became stuck on the basement staircase. The incident reminds many of the classic “Friends” episode when Ross tried to get his new sofa up the stairs. After the two-hour ordeal, Hickman's mother was finally rescued by the fire department.

That was probably terrifying but the good thing is that at least she could get oxygen through the spaces where it was wedged. Some people have ended up trapped like that, not necessarily the same situation but in some of those other cases the person trapped didn't survive. Glad she made it out alive and has a pretty funny story to tell after what she went through.

Glad she is ok and wasn't alone. And kudos to those mom muscles for getting it that far by herself. Thank God for firefighters...and daughters who will never let you live it down. About 16 years ago I managed to hit myself in the face with a softball...will NEVER stop hearing about it. 🤣

I'm glad she's okay and I'm pretty sure when she got off from under the couch she probably laughed really hard watching the video of her trapped under the couch and just seen her little hand sticking out from underneath

I'm glad she's okay. Without help, this is something that could have turned into a serious issue. But thankfully this is something she can look back at and laugh. No matter how absurd the situation seems, sometimes you legitimately need a rescue.
