The 5 Lies that will Ruin Your Hair Transplant

So many hair transplant clinics don't tell the truth about what a hair transplant surgery is, and exactly how it needs to be maintained. For most patients one surgery is not the end of their hair loss journey. It's only the beginning or one stepping stone on the way to a successful "hair career" so to speak.

This video contains 5 LIES that will ruin your hair transplant, and how you can avoid the same mistakes some of which I've already made.

If you're considering transplant surgery I suggest you text or call my friend Steve Cook. Steve is a wealth of information, and the most knowledgable and honest person I've met in the hair restoration business.

I’m 20, and your videos are actually a life saver I’m so educated now I have the knowledge to get a good ht surgeon and I’m on the fin and minoxidil. Hopefully I get a real good result!

Another advice i give never replace your existing hair with transplanted hair because finastride exists you can return the thickness with finastride is kind of the ultimate thing in terms of the hair with androgenic alopecia except for hairs that are already gone. Never replace your existing hairs for transplanted ones even if it not at its thickest but still decent.

Seriously, thank you so much for you two answering questions, etc. I'm gonna try to catch one of your lives, and see if you can help me?

Good information - I had to study transplants to understand the scalp sections. I am actively reversing over a decade of severe hair loss naturally, but this information still helps. I help men get their high school hair line back on my channel.

That's why finastride is way better because it returns the thickness you used to have oral finastride not topical. For those who have androgenic alopecia and for the hairs you still have if there thin but still there

I have heard from multiple other sources that dutasteride is important to prevent certain types of hair loss that finasteride doesn't and that it can be even more beneficial to have a treatment that either uses dutasteride and/or one that uses both and switches back and forth to maximize the results.

18 months ago I did a HT in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Turkish clinic, with turkish doctors, tehnicians etc) results are not great on the crown, and I wrote them a review on their google site, they called me and they offer me a correction to fix my problem....I don't know what to do, I think maybe it's better not to do it again, because my donor is same on eye look as before surgery, it's risky, and why do it again when there didn't do it good at first time, agree ? BTW great chanel and content ;)

I’ll add a tip: get on finasteride several months before surgery. This way you know if it’s something you can tolerate.

I hate when I see a hair transplant doctor posting a patient's photos with the before & after results at different lengths, in different lighting and different style. There are rare cases where people have restored a full head of hair, typically they have minimal hair loss and exceptional donor hair, but for most of us it is an illusion and that is why the doctor needs to be an artist to maximize the quality of the illusion. The Hair Chemist comes to mind.
