As someone that has spent many years, (82 yo), with striving to be the "perfect" Christian and feeling like a failure, I have finally come to see that if you are saved which leads to loving the Lord and if you love the Lord you want to please Him, and serve Him. In other words we don't perform to follow the rules we perform because we love Him and want to be obedient to please Him. I Praise the Father that He loves me.

This post by you is THE most important and soul saving sermon you have ever posted. This one may have saved my soul and hopefully many others I will now try to save. I’ve listened to many, many of your post but by far this one truly hit home. I am saved. I have been for years but I haven’t been living the way Jesus wanted me to bc I’ve been selfish and haven’t really done the work Jesus expects of me. In a group study I’ve been part of there is an old gentleman who rarely speaks due to his difficulty to hear clearly. When he does speak everyone listens to this wise sage. As we discussed can one lose their salvation he spoke, “I believe in once saved always saved (pause) if you’re saved.” That says it all🙏 Great video, Nate!!!

"once saved always saved" first requires me to be saved!!! so going out living how ever just illustrates that i never was saved. Paul said "They went out from us, but they were not of us"

This video is a reminder of why we Christians should be reading our Bibles prayerfully everyday and not just bits and pieces, all of it. Speaking from experience even those we love and trust can be wrong, we need to be reading Gods word for OURSELVES.

I agree with what you said about the "demarcation" between salvation and works. I was saved 3 years ago and it happened just as the Bible describes it. Before then I was as lost as one can be. The change that happened inside was so profound that I can't go living on the way I used to. When an opportunity presents itself to do good works I feel in my heart that it is necessary to do these things.

It humbles me every time, in my 25 years of working as a CNA, when one of my patients have told me that I was living out my calling that God prepared me for. I try every single day to be the light of Christ for my patients that may be surrounded by darkness and show them Jesus' love. I've also had so many people throughout my career ask me why I've never went back to nursing school bc I would make a great nurse. My answer is always the same, Because I don't feel that's where God wants me, I feel like I'm doing exactly what He trained me up to do.

9 years ago, on March 16 2016, i was not only converted(agnostic at the tim), but i was baptized in Spirit. A moment i will never forget, and a moment in time that has defined everything i am.

In that 9 years, i walked much the same as i had before. God touched me. I smoke still. I smoke weed still. Yet my salvation is secure, and the Mark of my Father remains upon me.

The sinful nature of my flesh is being slowly worked out of me. As the Holy Spirit convicts my heart for sin, i have become something else. A spirit who is at war with his flesh.

When i repent for the sins of my flesh i am not wondering if my salvation is lost, for i have come to know and love Jesus deeply in my trials and i know that theres nothing i can do to run away from my Shephard.

Salvation can not be lost, but that does not mean that our flesh can't become lost and go back towards sin.

It is the love of God that i see every time Jesus comes and saves me again from my own flesh.

We live in spirit and war with the flesh.
