It is a bit harsh I feel, since homaging is such a normal thing in the affordable section of the watch world. I also feel that if we are going to talk about stealing, then the insane pricing norms of the high-end brands are more like it...

Don’t forget how many “real” watch brands have copied the submariner or other popular designs. Everything is either a homage or inspired by someone else’s design. It’s only considered poor taste because Pagani design is cheap.

I totally disagree. They make good quality watches at a fraction of the price of those they're homaging. In the end, it's only a watch, and the truth is that very few people notice or care about what's on your wrist.

people who wear Pagani Design watches tend to know more about watches compared to people who wear expensive watches which are actually dogshit. I as a student having a very limited budget but also being a watch lover won’t mind wearing a homage watch.

I can see your argument, but Seiko is a poor example to use to make your point. Homaging Seikos almost universally results in the consumer getting the watch that Seiko should have made in the first place, often at the price reflective of the quality offered.

I think of Seiko as a prototype manufacturer, making expensive concept designs to be refined and brought to market at production prices by better watchmakers.

Pagani watches are great for the people that like the style of more expensive watches but simply don’t have the cash to ‘waste’ on them. Steeldive are another brilliant brand, too.

I don't think you know what stealing is, stealing is illegal. Pagani Design has done nothing illegal. They are like Robin Hood who doesn't break laws 😂

A bit unfair really. For many even the cost of a cocktail time or prx is to much for them. They have found a niche of giving fair quality, looks and price for those that are not lucky enough to have money to burn. And to be honest I am pretty sick of those that sneer at these people. Many seem to assume that a Rolex etc is their entitlement and those that want that look but really don't have the money are not. For many 200 quid is out of the question when you are struggling to make ends meet but we all know in this world nice things are only for the well off. What is criminal is how people have to use food banks or live on next to nothing while others can have luxury goods whilst ridiculing those that dont. I am as a watch enthusiast sometimes pretty ashamed at the elitist attitude that is prominent. Just let people enjoy the hobby their own way

I’ve just bought a Pagani homage of the Rolex yacht master for £36. If it lasts a year I’ll be more than happy. I could pay £33, 000 for the Rolex but I wasn’t born yesterday. 😅

I really like my Pagani Design PD-1701, Omega Speedy homage. I love the Speedmaster, but I really dislike manually wound movements. Sapphire bezel, and domed crystal, 316L Stainless steel, and a solid Seiko VK63 quartz movement for less than $100. It’s a great daily, beater, maybe a good alternative for traveling as well as it won’t matter much if it gets stolen or damaged. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I want the AirKing V2, I’d be wearing homages even if I had the legitimate piece it’s designed from.


Edit - Got the PG AirKing V2 and have been wearing it since, three weeks now. Love it.

With all respect, the video’s title using the word “avoid” is misleading and could well be catalogued as clickbait (not saying it is, though)
Before I watched your video I honestly thought you were going to talk about quality or performance issues, but in the end you showed your opinion about their design.
Regarding their designs, and as others have pointed, “stealing” could also be considered selling at prices a few hundred times the cost.

Out of touch dude, brands like pagani, skmei sanda and other brand are for people in 3rd world countries. Looking to buy decent, quality watches without breaking our finances. Hell, I don't even wear casios as a beater, gshocks here are seen as luxury. F91w cost a week's worth of food.

I just received a Pagani as a random Black Friday purchase. I have to say I'm impressed with the ceramic bezel sapphire crystal and speedy looks for $70. I bought a PD no time to die Seamaster lookalike ke and didn't love it so maybe a hit or miss brand.

I own their Speedmaster clone since im not able to drop a couple grand for a real omega. When it comes to more affordable watches though, ill jusy get the official one to support their work.
