For some reason hearing this version of the song gave me a different perspective of Mr Meeseks. As long as we follow our purpose in life, we're happy. Once we aren't able to fulfill our purpose, life is miserable. The longer you can't fulfill your purpose the harder it is on you. Purpose can come from any goals you, or someone else, sets for yourself . So don't set unreachable goals, and enjoy the small things in life.

There’s no particularly easy way to phrase this, but the original cover of this helped me through a bad time with my mental health. I listened to it on repeat because it was something that gave me joy

Five or so years later and I finally see this cover. All the good memories came back, but also a gratefulness that I was in a different position than when I first heard this song

So essentially..: thank you. Your bit of internet fun helped me when I needed it, and it’s lovely to see a re-cover now!
