thanks for the explanation. just started with flutter and the terms column and row in this context here are a bit misleading. i expected that a column widget would place the containing widgets next to each other because that's what columns are. vertical things that a next to each other from left to right.

Do we have to define the children list as <widget> ? mine doesnt automatically come up as that

If you want to copy the lines down, you can use "ctrl + D" on windows, while "command + D" on Mac. Guessing either works on Linux :)

What would happen if i will define 20 widgets in the list row and they wouldnt fit the screen? Would you have a scrollbar?
