I went on the pawn stars show a couple years back with my 300 yr old Baroque gold and diamond cross and I must say that Rick is a genuinely great and we'll grounded guy. After the shoot we went out back to his private smoking area and chatted it up for almost 2 hrs. This whole time the camera men and people with the show kept coming out and trying to get Rick back inside because they had two more episodes to shoot that day. Rick's response to them was really no response...no response at all...completely ignored them every time and kept up conversation with me like they weren't even there...he couldn't believe how much I reminded him of himself when he was my age. Rick is a really knowledgeable guy that's for certain. Would love to pick his brain again sometime...

Goes w/o saying Pawn Stars is an unique and riveting show. The wealth of knowledge, the wheeling and dealing and the humor etc. are just some of the features of a multi faceted family business that's simply put, highly intriguing and entertaining.
Condolences to Rick and everyone on the passing of the 'Old Man', Richard Sr. who brought them all together under one roof with his wry sense of humor and endearing qualities. RIP Sir!
