About a week after I adopted my rabbit she started pulling her fur out. I had *just* made an appointment at the vet to set up her spay. I thought it was a phantom pregnancy since she was only 4 months old but I decided to check in with the girl I got her from to make sure. Turns out she was housed with her brother and they might've gotten busy and dwarf rabbits actually reach maturity at 4 months rather than the usual 6.
Really took me by surprise. Unfortunately the baby was stillborn, but that was too be expected with an inbred. It did make me glad though that she decided to use one of my old blankets for her nest. It told me that despite only being with her for a week she was already comfortable with my scent and trusted me. She's spayed now and cuddlier than ever

'They know you are calling them...they just DO NOT CARE' is the definition of my female bunny 😂 even showing her treats, she knows when I have an ulterior motive!! They are so smart it's painful sometimes 🥲

My bunny wasn't just my pet, she was my best friend too! She used to snuggle up to me in my bed on a cold day and fall asleep with me. She used to lick all the tears off my face when I was sad too. She was such a funny bunny, some of the stupid things she did had me in stiches! Boy do I miss my big beautiful bunny rabbit, she was so cute and I miss the soft feeling of her lovely warm fur. I loved those big beautiful brown eyes! She was so sweet and lovely, I used to kiss her and feed her out my hands, she would just sit there enjoying being petted and loved. I used to kiss and tickle her face and stroke her furry ears. She also smelt nice too, like almonds or fresh bread!

My rabbit likes to ignore or stand back and just stare...unless I have food and then she dances around and runs around her box. I've had her not even a year yet and she's still anxious.

One time my bunny was super mad at me for cutting his claws, so when I tried to pet him, he just looked at me ran off to my mom and then just laid his head on the floor to get pets from her while glaring at me🤣

My rabbit loves to ignore me. She will sit there and just stare, sometimes even wiggle her ears so I know she is listening. The only way to get her to budge is if there are treats involved 😆

My bunny Finnigan passed 2 months ago in his 11th year.
He was an avid tv fan and would turn his back on me to sulk when anyone changed the tv station. He would thump his disapproval and turn his back.
One time I went away for a few days and expected him to be so happy I was home, NO. He refused to come to me and turned his back. The rest of the family said he was so sad I wasn't home.

First time rabbit owner 😃 What I noticed is that rabbits and cats have some similar behaviours (I used to have a cat). The “turning your back to you” when they’re offended. Not caring when you call them. Doing things on their time and not yours. So I sometimes call them cats, but tbh in my language the words look a bit alike 🙄

Everytime my bunny nibbles at my clothes and I get her to stop and say her name and “no, ” she goes and jumps so high into the air and gets the zoomies, I don’t know why it gets her so excited but she loves it! I guess thats her way of playing

The nibbling of the clothes can also be a sign of being territorial and dominant. The difference is that the rabbit will nibble and also tug at clothes. Rabbits will pull each other’s fur as a sign a dominance and do the same with humans and their clothes.

It used to be that people would call me if their bunny ignored them longer than a day, because I am a bunny whisperer. In the short time I spoke to rabbits, I had over a 90% win rate. More often than not if the bunny has never given its mama or daddy a bunny kiss, after I have done bunny whispering, they give many kisses. I don't talk much about this anymore, but it's true!

hello Lorelei. I hope this message reaches you. I have recently lost my sweet rabbit Rome. She was an amazing girl and I adored her more than anything in the entire world. We rescued her from an abusive situation where she sat on her own poop all day for almost two years. Would you like to know the reason I realized how wrongly she was being treated? It was because of you. I watched your videos and they gave me so much information. You are the reason she had an amazing quality of life with me, even if it was only for a short time. I am so extremely grateful that you came into my life, even if it was in a virtual way. I cannot thank you enough for saving my sweet baby Rome. thank you. Rest In Peace sweet Rome. 2020-2022 fly high 💔🕊

I couldnt do anything, i couldnt even wake up and i rarely left my bed but since i got my baby bunny i am more responsible and my depression is better. One of my rabbits was quite aggressive and used to bite a bit. So I checked out, what other rabbits would do. The next time she did it, I squeaked a bit and turned around, eyeing my bunny over my shoulder. After that she still ran towards me open mouthed, but never bit me again! I also want to add, she used to fall asleep next to my foot when I was studying ^^ (Yes she had a buddy and yes she was a great, albeit difficult darling)

My bun ignored me and looked at me like I’m stupid ( with a very judgmental look)
😂 regardless I love her!

My bunnies; Bart and Lisa, are rescues from Bunny Bunch in the Los Angeles area. They didn’t know each other but after a year with Bart alone we decided to get him a bestie. We had to do several “bunny dates” before we adopted Lisa to make sure they were compatible. Within a week of coming home after Bart chased her around and was inappropriate ( even though they are both fixed of course) they were grooming each and have been inseparable ever since. They pretty much ignore me all the time unless I’m feeding them 😆🙄

I will literally be in tears calling him thinking my rabbit got loose and ran out of my apartment...and he'll just be sitting under the coffee table, zero f***s given.
